Dr. Zywicke is a Michigan native who attended medical school in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She did her residency at the University of Alabama – Birmingham then spent three years in Atlanta, Georgia before heading to The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor for a complex spine and deformity fellowship. She returned to Alabama practicing for eight years in Huntsville. She began practice in the greater Nashville area in December 2024.
Dr. Zywicke treats conditions involving the nerves such as carpal tunnel syndrome and ulnar nerve dysfunction. She sees cranial problems including, but not limited to Chiari malformation, normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH), and brain tumors Dr. Zywicke also treats conditions of the spine such as cervical (neck pain)/radiculopathy (nerve problems), herniated discs, lumbar (lower back) pain/radiculopathy (nerve problems), spinal stenosis/compression, and fractures.
Dr. Zywicke enjoys time outside, being active, and travel. She hopes someday to finish the Sunday New York Times Crossword Puzzle without outside help. She technically has two nephews but holds the children of many close to her heart.
Dr. Zywicke welcomes new patients with a desire to provide the best all-around care possible. She strives to genuinely listen to her patients’ concerns and complaints in order to properly figure out then problem and take care of those problems to get people feeling as well as they can.
